Sonny Martinez is a Texas Native who came from very humble beginnings and grew up in Irving Texas.  Having to get a full time job at McDonald's at the age of 14,  Sonny learned quickly that nothing in life is free.  " If you want something, you have to put in the work to get it".  With that said, Sonny's drive for excelling led him to  win “Rookie of the Year” his first year in addition to completing over 4 million in sales.  Keeping the process simple and organized is his “forte” and providing excellent service throughout the process is his priority.

Sonny’s success comes from his integrity and his honest approach when dealing with people.  His professionalism and creativity are the motivating factors that drive him to work day and night to make sure his clients have the best service.  Whether the client is a cash buyer or a first time home buyer, all clients are treated with the upmost respect and care.  A home is one of the most important decisions one can go through and Sonny makes sure that you are given the facts before you make the decision that is best for you and your family.  If there is a problem with that home, he is going to tell you.  It's not about making money... it's about creating trust and doing the right thing.

Sonny is a retired Band Director and administrator of 27 years.  As a Band Director in the state of Texas, Sonny has had numerous successful programs and was not only awarded Teacher of the year, but has been a member of the Top 20 teachers for 19 years.  His experience in education has helped him with his attention to details and deadlines.  In addition to his educational experience, public speaking and educational consulting, Sonny is also good with negotiating and making the impossible, possible.  (Especially with FHA and VA buyers) If he has to get out his tools to make needed repairs, he will do it!

Sonny has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters from Southern Methodist University with a 4.0 GPA.   He is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu honorary band director fraternity and an alumni member of Kappa Kappa Psi honorary band fraternity.  He is also a member of the National Realtors association and the North Texas Real Estate Association.   

Sonny’s Main focus and goal is to leave a legacy for his son Nate.  With that in mind,  "every transaction is dedicated to Nate".   Nate is a 2024 Graduate of Eaton high school in Northwest ISD.
